Some of you know that my mom collects cows. Those of you who are family know that it is leading towards the need for therapy. . . I think I figured a way around it, though. Take a picture of each cow, frame it, and hang it up for her. THEN SELL THE HERD!

Yeah, right! Like I would live long enough to get them out of her room! Anyway, let me introduce you to a few of her cows that I actually LIKE!

This is Clover. I just love her face (and the fact that she is SMALL!).

This is a burlap-covered cow that Mom received a few years ago from a dear family friend. Don't know if this cow had a name but I love the textures and the organic feel of her.

I plan on taking more photos of Mom's cows in the near future. Some for fun, others for documentation purposes because she has several antiques. Oh! And she has the best salt-and-pepper shakers! I grew up with those things on the table at dinner! Just wait until I can post those.

A cow collection, how funny! My aunt collects turtles. Her entire house is covered in them, it's unbelievable!

Mom collects cows, Aunt Martha collects Santas, owls, and now cats (although the cats are real...). Aunt N collects pigs and Grandma collects frogs. I use to actively collect angels but have whittled it down. Now, I have a great collection of blue glass. Much of it thanks to my husband and then my mom/Aunt Martha going yard saling together.

Happy New Year, Jen! A bit belated, but I suppose late is better than never. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas.

I collect music boxes, although my house isn't covered in them. I love the antique ones. I like to wind them all up and let them play at the same time. It does tend to drive my poor dog nuts when I do that though. LOL!

I like cows too, only the real ones. There are many in the pasture across the street from us, so all I have to do to get my fill of cows is walk out my front door. :)
